LATE MODEL STOCK RULES

SECTION F

1.0         BODY

          1.1     McAllister TUCSON 1/10 scale body only.

1.2     Any paint scheme can be used.  Car must have numbers on sides and top

1.3     Numbers controlled by Race Director

1.4     Cut-outs in the windshield only in the meshed net pattern area. ( Any shape)

1.4b   Cut-outs for glow plug 1" max.  and carb.  adjustments 1/4" allowed.

1.5     Body must be trimmed along factory’s trim lines around bottom of the body (Top line). Wheel wells must clear tire size. 

1.5a   No limit on cut-outs in rear of car

1.6     No other cutouts allowed

1.7     Spoiler must be centered on car and may not extend beyond quarter panels.     Spoiler may be attached with two sided tape, glued or bolted.

1.8     Spoiler may be attached to top or rear of deck lid.

1.9     Spoiler blade width to be 2” max. at any angle

1.10   Side dams may be no more than 2” wide and 2" high from deck lid and not to

           extend beyond back of spoiler

1.11   Side dams must start at the back of deck lid

1.12   Deck lid max. height 3 1/2” (top of deck lid to ground)

2.0         CHASSIS

          2.1    1/10 NTC3 touring car chassis (composite or alum)

          2.2     1/10 NTC3 touring car arms (nylon or composite)

          2.2     Car must weigh Min 64oz. (4 pounds, 1816 grams) according to official track

           scales.               

2.3     Any size fuel tank is allowed.

3.0        ENGINE & EXHAUST

3.1     Approved .Engine protest fee is $25.00 (See track rules A5.0 for protest and

          procedures)

3.2a   Stock OS .12CV with OS 10E rotary carb. Duratrax and O.S. 12CVR

          replacement heads are allowed for this engine only.

3.2b   Stock OS .12TG with 12E rotary carb or 12D slide carb w/ stock head. Associated rear exhaust muffler is allowed for this engine only.

3.2c   Stock Dynamite .12SPD with stock rotary carb w/stock head.

3.2d   Stock Associated .15 that comes with the NTC3.

3.2e   Stock OS .12CVR with 10c or 10e stock carb w/stock head.

3.3     Approved engine modifications.  An engine will still be considered “stock” with

          the following modification.

          3.3a   An engine’s crank may be cut as required for the attachment of a clutch nut.

          3.3b   An engine’s pull start may be removed.

          3.3c   The pull start catch-pin on the crank may be removed by grinding or cutting.

          3.3d   A non-pull start back plate may be added

          3.3e  

3.3f   An engine’s piston and sleeve may be replaced with piston and sleeve that matches stock specifications.

3.4     Any other modifications made, including but not limited to, polishing, cutting,

          grinding, or otherwise altering a stock engine, will make the engine considered

          illegal.

3.5     No restrictions on Air Breather

3.6     Associated RTR # 7730 torque muffler or #7731 rpm muffler only. (exc 3.2b)

4.0        TIRES

          4.1     Rubber or Foam 1/10 touring car tires

          4.1a   30mm max tire width (Tires may not extend outside of body)

5.0        TRANSMISSIONS

          5.1     Single or 2-speed allowed
