                  COT Nascar Series   2008     Rule Book

Rules Subject to change

1.0 Body
     1.1 COT Nascar 200mm bodies 1/10 scale
     1.2 Any paint scheme can be used. Car must have numbers on sides and top
     1.3 Numbers controlled by Race Director.
     1.4 Air flow cut outs in windshield and rear glass ONLY with a max. dia. of 2"
     1.5 A max. 5/8" hole for glow plug and 1/4" hole for carburetor adjustment screw
     1.5a No other cut outs allowed.
     1.6 Body must be trimmed along factory trim line’s around bottom of the body.
          (Ask officials if not sure about this before cutting)

     1.7 Stock spoiler must be on car centered with two sided tape, glued or bolted
     1.8 Home made Spoilers must be stock appearing (two sided tape, glued or bolted)
     1.9  Bottom of spoiler no more than ˝" max. from deck lid to spoiler
     1.10 Added spoiler 7" long max. and centered on deck
     1.11 Deck lid max. height 3 ˝" top to ground
     1.12 Spoiler must be level as can be

2.0 Car & Chassis
     2.1 RTR 1/10 touring car chassis only
     2.2 Car must weight Min. 64oz. (4 pounds)(1816 grams)
     2.3 Any size fuel tank can be used

3.0 Motors & Exhaust
     3.1 Motor buy out $25.00 ( See Rule 6.0)
     3.2 ASO .12 ASO .15 OS12CV(Hyper head OK)
     3.3 No restrictions on Air Breather
     3.4 RTR exhaust system (RPM muffler OK)

4.0 Tires
     4.1 Rubber or foam tires

6.0  Motor Buy Out

     6.1 MOTOR PROTEST RULES FOR COT NASCAR AND NASTRUCK

              Protest will cost $25.00

              Money will be given to track promoter

              Motor to be broke down by owner. Protester gets to see motor broken down.

              If protester sees that motor is illegal the track promoter gives the official word after looking at motor himself

              Protester gets his $25.00 back

              If motor is legal, the protester we’ll lose his money to the motor owner
